CASACOR Espírito Santo. Sebrae Creative Space - Elza Pinto and José Geraldo Pinto Sobrinho. The history of great artisans from Espírito Santo is the premise of this space, which brings together pieces for sale and contemplation in a small lounge with dark tones and straight-line joinery. Highlight is the blue wall that contrasts with the rest of the project and brings color to the room.

CASACOR Ceará. Loja Brasil Original - Laura Rios and Liana Feingold. The relaxed atmosphere comes from the exposed materials, which reaffirm simplicity. The objects were displayed on different geometric bases, transmitting movement to the Sebrae concept store. It promotes the Brasil Original project, which travels around the country to develop the production chain and introduce artisans to the market.

CASACOR Pernambuco. Sebrae Crafts Warehouse - Roberta Borsoi. For this space, the architect designed an entire space in wood, to interact with the handicraft pieces on display. The shelves have built-in lighting and the entire space has diffused light to enhance the products. A strong colored wallpaper adds depth to the Warehouse.

CASACOR Brasília. Espaço Sebrae - Denis Alves Sarges. Brazil's mineral riches and the tones of the cerrado are revered in the project, which combines a tribute to the gold trend. The appreciation of craftsmanship is seen in the metal Adam's rib leaves that hang around the central pillar, designed by Ramon Rocha. And also in the wall effects created by visual artists Sabrina Najar and Cindy Reis.

CASACOR Rio Grande do Norte. SEBRAE Space - Maria Luiza Lamas. A project with a regional soul, which values local suppliers. Wood is the star and comes in a sustainable version, in pine pallets. The clean lines highlight the beauty of the material, as does the spot lighting. Even the white porcelain tile takes on a rustic and worn look.

CASACOR Alagoas. Sebrae Gazebo - Giulia França. Valuing popular culture in order to rescue the identity of Alagoas was the starting point for this 124m² space. For this reason, Quilombo dos Palmares was one of the main inspirations for the space that displays furniture pieces produced by artisans, whose activity is promoted by Sebrae.

CASACOR Goiás. Helios Alencastro - Loja Brasil Original. The idea here is to bring more visibility to Goian crafts, with a modern approach. Hence the choice of contemporary finishes, such as lacquer (glossy and matte), glass and tiles, alternating the use of green and blue. Beehives display the pieces with movement and originality.

CASACOR is the largest decoration and architecture exhibition in the Americas. Since it is present in practically every Brazilian state, the exhibitions always bring with them the characteristics and singularities of their regions. The handicraft pieces are a great example of this, as they add personality and cultural identity to the spaces.

In environments dedicated to craft practices, local characteristics and popular artists are recognized and stand out. Check out the exclusive craft spaces at CASACOR 2017 in the gallery above!
