17th SP-Arte opens today at a new address and with an extensive virtual agenda

Traditionally held at the Bienal Pavilion, the 17th SP-Arte has a new home and, in addition to the in-person event, the fair also offers activities in the digital environment

This Wednesday, October 20th, and until Saturday, October 24th, the 17th edition of SP-Arte - São Paulo International Art Festival will take place. A total of 125 exhibitors , including art and design galleries, specialized publishers, museums and special projects, are located at ARCA, a 9,000 m² warehouse located in Vila Leopoldina, in São Paulo. The novelty of this edition, in addition to the address, is the extensive digital programming that accompanies the physical event; thus, the Viewing Room , a space SP-Arte digital, will receive projects exclusively online.

Promoting the country's art and culture and expanding the discussion on contemporary art, this edition of SP-Arte has the active participation of galleries and partners in promoting semi-presential activities . The program includes chats, digital immersions and coverage of the activities via the fair's Instagram ( @sp_arte ). The full schedule can be accessed at this link . Among the safety measures adopted by SP-Arte this year are the limitation of public capacity, the purchase of tickets online and by appointment, and the presentation of proof of vaccination (printed or digital) or a negative test to Covid-19, carried out no more than 48 hours prior to the date of visit. At the site, there will also be a temperature check, in addition to the recommendation of social distancing of at least 1.5 meters. Frequent hand hygiene and the use of masks is mandatory.
