It took just four days to build the structure and 35 to complete the construction of
Casa do Bem . The project, by architect
Jorge Delmas , in partnership with CasaShopping, was built using a dry, clean and sustainable method that uses metal parts as a structure, drywall walls and a roof with cement panels that combine practicality and sustainability and bring greater efficiency. The work that generated almost no waste also required little water, one of the most used natural resources in common masonry works. Inside, the high ceiling and the 145 m² of area make up a large loft in a contemporary style that highlights designer pieces, in addition to the exhibition of photographs by Beto Gatti. "The idea was to unite architecture, design, sustainability and comfort. Without forgetting, of course, the innovation necessary for an exhibition like
CASACOR Rio " explains the architect.
But the big highlight is, without a doubt, the exhibition with the beautiful photos by
Beto Gatti , who brings his artistic and conceptual perspective to the works carried out in the
Arquitetando o Bem project . Created by Fernanda Marcolini, director of Social Responsibility at CasaShopping, the Arquitetando o Bem project renovates, and in some cases even builds, homes for children with chronic illnesses treated by the
NGO Saúde Criança Responder , thus improving their quality of life. So far, two projects have been completed. Both in Nova Iguaçu, under the leadership of Delmas, who uses leftover materials and used furniture donated by store owners and volunteers. The intention of presenting the project at
CASACOR is precisely to attract new partnerships between suppliers. "The children assisted by the NGO have chronic problems and their housing conditions, which are almost always very precarious, do nothing to help them recover. That is why we created the project. And now we are moving on to a second stage of training their parents, so that they can seek better jobs and better living conditions," says Fernanda Marcolini.[newsletter]
