To the north of Santa Catarina Island, in a gated community on Ingleses beach, the so-called " Casa dos Encontros ", designed by architect Andressa Venturini – from the CASACOR Santa Catarina cast –, was built between the hills and the blue sea.

The 380 m2 property is where the story of the young couple began. She is Brazilian and he is Swedish, both in love with Brazil and its tropical climate. Their lives are also divided between the two countries , but they prefer to spend most of their time in the house nicknamed “the house of dreams”, on this side of the tropics.

The connection between spaces favors interaction between residents. Everything is connected and was designed to be that way on the floor plan . The architect explains that everything was designed so that moments can be experienced together . The intention is in the arrangement of the furniture , where the word encounter is taken to the maximum in the use of space and invitation.

“In this project, encounter is exactly what we seek. Everything in the house is connected to the point of creating beautiful encounters. The furniture, the spaces to receive family and friends, the intimate environments that also provide self-encounter,” says Andressa.
With a contemporary style , the professional selected designer pieces from national design to compose the living scene. There is an atmosphere of sophistication in the composition.

The furniture types complement each other in harmony , the strong colors like black – the client's favorite – do not weigh down the look and, in the environments, they were softened with the combination of lighter tones and natural materials .

“The natural wood veneer and stone are a perfect match. The first warms up the environment, while the other brings a certain air of elegant rusticity to the composition”, points out the professional.

With fully integrated environments, harmony between the spaces was maintained with the same language of furniture and materials. Unity that highlights the personality of the inhabitants and makes everyday life enjoyable.
