The turning point of the project was the decision to carry out a deep intervention rather than a superficial renovation. After eight years unoccupied, the house showed severe signs of wear due to the sea spray. Felipe Carolo proposed opening the facade, a solution that not only enhanced natural lighting but transformed the view of the sea into the protagonist element of all spaces. To ensure the longevity of the work against the coastal climate, the architect adopted a naval construction logic, selecting synthetic coatings and high-resistance materials, such as cumaru decking and fabrics for the outdoor area.

Upon entering, under the wooden lattice ceiling, the visitor is welcomed by a living room that harmonizes the Matriz sofa and Cigg side tables by Jader Almeida, with the Brise-Soleil buffet by Gustavo Bittencourt.

The transition to the living room reveals one of the owner's favorite corners: the iconic Mole armchairs by Sergio Rodrigues, strategically positioned for sunset views. On the balcony, the Pendulum swing by Ruy Ohtake floats over the rug signed by Maraí Valente, reinforcing the lightness of the proposal.

The outdoor area is dominated by the renovated pool, which gained depth and heating, becoming the heart of leisure. On the deck, the modular furniture shares space with onyx tables designed by the architect himself and lamps that create a scenic atmosphere at night. Even privacy was treated organically: the dense vegetation from neighboring lots allowed for the removal of heavy curtains, leaving the path clear for light.

In the bedrooms, the technology of automatic blinds allows the routine to be dictated by nature: just a touch to wake up to the vastness of the ocean ahead.
