Proposing
sustainable solutions in tune with architectural and design trends is a challenge for
CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis , which has transposed its concern for preserving the environment into its spaces and engaging visitors to do the same.
A Bilheteriah!, projeto de Gabriela Bosco Dutra e Vanessa Buonomo. (Lio Simas)
In the project
A Bilheteriah! by Gabriela Bosco Dutra and Vanessa Buonomo, an installation made with bamboo invites us to reflect on the use of this material, which, although abundant in Brazil and an important sustainable vector for civil construction, is still little used in architecture. "The installation is a structural sculpture, made in counterbalance and self-supporting, fixed only to the ground. Our intention was to draw attention to bamboo, which is already known as green steel and is also considered the wood of the future. In Brazil, its use is still restricted to decoration, construction of fences and furniture," explains Vanessa Buonomo. The space also has MDF furniture, which will be reused at the end of the exhibition, and upholstery in eco-fabric, produced from cotton and PET bottle threads.
Cozy Office, do 3P Studio. (Lio Simas)
3P Studio's
Cozy Office features sustainable materials, covering the fireplace, walls and garden floor, made from recycled construction waste and glass containers from beers and soft drinks. Project
by the duo
Cris Passing and
Giovane Marangoni , the
Loft Duo also has pieces that will be reused. In addition, the
Living Room by Architect Graziela de Souza was designed from the beginning to become a service room in her office.
Beer Bar, assinado por Fabio Bubniak e Ana Carolina Melo. (Lio Simas)
The architecture of the Cidade Milano development, where the exhibition is located, inspired some professionals to abandon the plaster ceilings, which are difficult to dispose of, and leave the ceiling exposed – in the best industrial style. This is the case of
Beer Bar , by Fabio Bubniak and Ana Carolina Melo, which also has a metal sheet from a shipping container.
The
UNILUX Basement , by Beatriz Zeglin, Mariana Maisonnave, Arthur Lins, Felipe Finger and Vitor Sadowski, respects the memory of the century-old mansion, with lights that highlight its preservation.
