It is not new that brands of coatings, furniture, ceramics, and metals invest in powerful showrooms to impress clients and present their portfolio in an enchanting way. Many of these spaces also offer a schedule of events focused on the universe of art, design, architecture, and innovation. However, in addition to the products, the architecture of these places is another point of attention that elevates the level of the experience for visitors. With this in mind, we prepared a route of showrooms in São Paulo, designed by great names in architecture. A spoiler: they are all located in areas of the city that are quite close to each other. So, it’s worth visiting several in one day!

Flagship Florense

Located on Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva, Flagship Florense is the main Brazilian showcase for the high-end custom furniture brand. Those passing through the famous Paulista street dedicated to design are enchanted by the immense structures installed on the sidewalk in front of the store, called houseplants, designed by Israeli designer Dror Benshetrit. They are four corten steel towers that form an ethereal work, which is part sculpture, part garden, and illustrates the potential for nature and architecture to live in harmony. "Nature includes us. It is not possible to see the world around us while excluding ourselves from it. Understanding ourselves, humans, as part of this nature teaches us to have a new perspective on our environment and also teaches us to design," Dror said at the time of the inauguration. The store's concept was also created by the designer, who was challenged to present an innovative project. With an area of 920 m2, the flagship has four floors and is surrounded by rich vegetation, with foliage, fruit trees, herbs, and spices, in a unique experimentation of valuing nature. Roca São Paulo Gallery

On Avenida Brasil, the facade with silk-screened glass panels captures attention and reveals a space for contemplation and meetings, permeated by lush vegetation. The Roca São Paulo Gallery houses the showroom of the Spanish brand Roca, where visitors can view the brand’s products in settings and also participate in events. Designed by architect Fernanda Marques with landscaping signed by Alex Hanazaki, the place was conceived to also be a true cultural platform focused on the dialogue between design, sustainability, and innovation. The project integrates the global network of galleries of the Roca brand — present in Barcelona, Lisbon, Shanghai, Madrid, Beijing, and London. Here in São Paulo, the glazed façade dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior, and nature is present in various forms: in the green walls that filter the light, in the gardens that surround the building, and in the silk-screened panels that refer to the Atlantic Forest and celebrate native biodiversity. The project was even recognized with the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025, one of the most prestigious international design awards. Among nearly 11,000 proposals from 66 countries, the Roca São Paulo Gallery was awarded in the Public Architecture category. Roca São Paulo Gallery Avenida Brasil, 2188 - Jardim América, São Paulo

To start a new chapter in a 47-year journey, Bontempo — one of the most important high-end custom furniture brands in the country — recently inaugurated the Casa Bontempo on Avenida Rebouças. With about 1,500 m², the construction has architecture signed by the FGMF office and landscaping created by landscaper Luiz Carlos Orsini. At the address, architects, decorators, designers, franchisees, clients, and the general public are invited to participate in events, workshops, and activations related to the world of arts, design, and gastronomy, in addition to being able to see projects mounted with Bontempo products. The house also serves as a permanent art hub, bringing together a collection that reflects the diversity and cultural richness of Brazil. Curated by Ana Carolina Ralston, the collection features works that represent the five regions of the country, including names like Tomie Ohtake, Vik Muniz, and Véio. Highlighting two works produced specifically for Casa Bontempo: visual artist and spiritual leader Bu'ú Kennedy used natural Bontempo wood slabs, while Paulista Taygoara Schiavinoto built a banner-style sculpture using customized panels from the brand. The Casa Docol was created to honor water and translate the pillars of the ceramics and metals brand into design, innovation, and sustainability. Signed by the MM18 Architecture office, led by architects Mila Strauss and Marcos Paulo Caldeira, the architecture reveals large openings and contemporary lines. The space also goes beyond the exhibition of products and proposes an experience of proximity and connection between people. With more than 300 products, including launches, iconic pieces, and exclusive items from the Domos Project — a collection signed by prominent names in architecture and design, such as Alan Chu, Angelo Bucci, Ana Neute, Estudio Campana, among others — Casa Docol offers specialized service for professionals and clients in specifying metals, sanitary ceramics, and stainless steel sinks. Mula Preta

Project of the Mula Preta store, signed by the architect and partner of the studio, Felipe Bezerra.

Bringing northeastern culture to São Paulo was the starting point of the project for the Mula Preta store, signed by architect and studio partner, Felipe Bezerra. The minimalist line construction, set on a 1,000 m² plot, has 680 m² and was designed so that the pieces developed by the brand take center stage in the internal space. Surrounded by wavy metal tiles, the facade brings a certain mystery, while the cantilevered showcase breaks the volume and invites the gaze inside. The schist stone finishing blends with the background that refers to the cracked ground of the hinterlands, reinforcing the brand's potiguar identity. The landscaping, signed by Alex Hanazaki, completes the narrative with native species of the northeast in the front and back gardens of the store. Signed by Studio Arthur Casas, the architecture of the +55design store was inspired by Brazilian culture, which also permeates the identity and catalog of the contemporary furniture brand. The cobogós on the facade are examples of this reference, as well as earthy and green monochromatic tones and an exuberant vegetation composed of species from Brazilian flora. All of this enhances the tropical atmosphere of the place, without giving up elegance. This neutral and minimalist setting became perfect for the furniture to be displayed prominently, valued by the natural light that enters through the openings designed by Arthur and his team. +55design Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva, 2798 - Jardim América, São Paulo

Owner of the brands Deca, Portinari, Hydra, Duratex, Castelatto, Ceusa, and Durafloor, Dexco recently opened its flagship store in Conjunto Nacional, on Avenida Paulista. With 72 years of history, the famous building – designed by architect David Libeskind — is synonymous with culture, art, commerce, and social awareness. It was the first major skyscraper in the Avenida Paulista region, marking the beginning of the urbanization process in the area, and one of the first to include the surroundings by leaving the ground floor open for the circulation of people. The Casa Dexco revives the idea of being a place integrated into the city. With an area of approximately 4,000 square meters divided into two floors, the space, designed by the Architects Office, was envisioned to showcase decorated projects with the products of the group's brands. The FGMF office also signs the project for the flagship of Lider, on Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva. With the authorship of the trio of architects, the Minas Gerais brand exposes a significant part of its portfolio of furniture, created by its own studio and through partnerships with great names in Brazilian design. On the 800 m² plot, a creative project with contemporary lines was developed, highlighted by hanging gardens and a mezzanine suspended in the center of the space. From the digital to the physical, Boobam — a marketplace specialized in Brazilian design — maintains a store in Pinheiros, designed by architect Felipe Hess. The starting point of the project was the appropriation of an old warehouse without altering the place's language and structure. Felipe's idea was to create neutral architecture and interiors so that they would serve as a backdrop for the variety of products with different colors, functions, and dimensions.
