(Marco Antonio)

Owner of an unparalleled style, a natural talent that has made his name a reference in Brazilian architecture, João Armentano is recognized for expanding the potential of city architecture, exploring the best of its volumetry and nature. With over 30 years of experience in architecture, interiors and decoration, the São Paulo architect has established himself with a balanced style, which harmonizes raw lines and transforms spaces with the irreverence that is characteristic of him. As the objective of his projects, the architect often says that comfort and beauty are indispensable. Armentano plays with shapes, contrasting straight lines and angles with more rounded volumes. With modernist references, his style emphasizes natural and scenic lighting, minimalist lines, sustainable materials and works of art. Elements such as glass, wood, concrete and marble appear as his favorites, interacting with each other in a balance of their properties.
His story with the brand began between June 12 and July 1, 1990, when CASACOR occupied the modernist mansion at number 271, Rua Oliveira Pimentel, in Jardim Paulista. Designed by architect Gregori Warchavchik, the house also had incredible gardens. signed by Burle Marx. Around 17 thousand people visited the event, which repeated the success of the store coordinated by the Lar Escola São Francisco entity. Twenty-nine architects and decorators participated in the exhibition, among them the debutants Beto Galvez, Nórea De Vitto, Arthur by Mattos Casas, Brunete Fraccaroli and João Armentano. Since then, his relationship with CASACOR has not stopped progressing. In 2006, he led the creation of the Apartment of the Future . Three years later, the architect returned to the São Paulo show with Fuori Cittá , a reinterpretation of Arab tents where vintage and antique furniture high design appeared relaxed, in a loose layout. Armentano had three other unforgettable participations in São Paulo, in which he designed true refuges, where the concepts of integration, lightness and comfort were indispensable.
