This refuge in the interior of São Paulo is the new home of a couple who decided to purchase the property after spending some time there to escape their routine at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020: economist Ricardo Amorim and interior designer
Fernanda Brandão . She is responsible for the interior design of the residence, while the firm
Daniel Fromer & Arquitetos was responsible for the architectural project.
Located in a residential condominium in the city of Itu, the house is situated in the middle of a
preserved area , and is based on the premise of a feeling of calm and tranquility for days of rest. The desire for a
space close to nature was fulfilled when they found the country residence, just a few minutes from the capital of São Paulo, where they live during the week.
The
818 m² house has finishes in
reclaimed pink peroba wood , a flat roof covering and large openings in the living room, which contribute to the construction of a
contemporary and cozy concept .
The social area was designed to welcome and gather friends and family. Integrated, it accommodates several people, in a
relaxed environment without excessive details , which stands out for its
burnt cement finishes.
The interior design, designed by the resident herself, Fernanda Brandão, brought personality and identity to the family home. Based on natural elements,
Brazilian design was highlighted, with the use of
pieces from local suppliers , which were harmonized with
objects from the personal collection . The Matriz sofa, by designer
Jader Almeida , also appears in the main living room of the house.
The landscaping, designed by
Catê Poli , transformed the outdoor area into an ideal environment for socializing by combining furniture, flooring and lighting elements with vegetation. Check out more photos of the project in the gallery:
