Named Moore House , the home brings together the best that Californian modernism has to offer : open spaces, clean and crisp volumes that are softened by the use of wood , architectural gardens and glass extensions that provide stunning views of the urban landscape.

At around ^150m2 , the house is not very big, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in heritage value , design and architectural talent.

An open plan interior offers a fluid sequence of communal areas with a dual aspect – looking both to the entrance and the rear garden with terrace and pool.

Inside, the architects maintained the spirit and style of the original , using natural materials and sparing any existing details.

Earth-toned tiles, ribbed glass, brass-plated hardware, dark marble with golden veins, black granite and honey-toned wood create a luxurious and warm palette of colors and textures .
