In the district of Catuçaba, in São Luís do Paraitinga, lies Villa Sarre: a
unique project that proposes a new way of living, creating, and contemplating. Idealized by visual artist
Vanessa Meyer, the farm is more than a destination: it is a reunion — of the creator with her roots, of art with the land, of luxury with simplicity.
The daughter of a farmer from the interior of Minas Gerais,
Vanessa traveled the world dedicated to art. But it was in this piece of mountain, surrounded by the exuberance of the Atlantic Forest, that she rediscovered her love for the land, for cherished memories, and for the silent beauty of nature.
This is how the first art farm in Brazil was born, where the cultivation is of sensations and experiences.
The landscape that transforms into architecture
Villa Sarre was conceived in successive plateaus,
respecting the natural relief and inviting contemplation at every step. Minimalist and sophisticated, the architectural ensemble displays off-white tones, earthy beiges, and natural fibers, creating a
ethereal aesthetic that blends Greek calmness, Tuscan rusticity, and Brazilian artisanal spirit.
Each element carries Vanessa's signature:
white clay, rope, sisal, coconut fibers, and Brazilian woods coexist with
pieces from the Amazon, Bahia, and the South of the country. Everything integrates with nature, as if each detail were also a work of the surroundings.
Art, hospitality, and exclusivity
On the second plateau, the space opens to the public. A large glass-enclosed room connects to the kitchen, where
gatherings and meals take on the character of rituals. From there, the landscape reveals itself in constant motion.
With a capacity for up to nine people, the Villa offers
personalized services, an exclusive chef, and tailor-made experiences — from culinary tours to guided walks — for those seeking sophistication, privacy, and connection with the natural.
A territory to create
Villa Sarre is not limited to hospitality: it is also a space for artistic production. In the upcoming plateaus, already under construction, an open-air gallery with works by Vanessa and invited artists will emerge. Chalets with individual studios will host creators in artistic residency, promoting the dialogue between art, nature, and interiority.
At the mountain summit, a
viewpoint with a 360-degree view will serve as a stage for contemplation, while a helipad will ensure direct access. A marked ecological trail leads to a mineral water spring —
yet another gesture from nature reaffirming its leading presence.
