The tallest building in São Paulo, 172 meters high and 46 floors , has just been inaugurated after 8 years of design and construction. Named Platina 220 , the building is located in the Tatuapé neighborhood, across from the shopping mall of the same name, in the East Zone of the capital. It will be used for different purposes: stores (on the ground floor), hotel and residential units (in the lower third of the building), commercial complexes (in the middle part) and corporate slabs (in the upper part) .
The project involved the work of the Königsberger Vannucchi Arquitetos Associados office, which created a building full of striking volumes on the façade, which also enhance ventilation in the internal spaces and is the secret to ensuring the high height. Along with Porte Engenharia e Urbanismo on the Eixo Platina, other projects with Königsberger Vannucchi architecture are under construction and should be delivered in the coming years, such as Almagah 227, winner of the Americas Property Awards 2019-2020 .
