“Architecture begins when you carefully join two bricks together.” This quote by the famous architect Mies van der Rohe represents the creative spark behind the design of Studio Guilherme Torres. The building – without walls – welcomes visitors on a corner of the Pinheiros neighborhood in São Paulo. And it uses much more than just a couple of bricks in its construction.

In total, 25 thousand units make up the mosaic on the façade. The openwork structure, halfway between art and craftsmanship, is a relevant characteristic of Guilherme Torres' architecture. In this project, in addition to being sculptural, the feature ensures natural light in the rooms throughout the day.

Torres' São Paulo office - which has also had a headquarters in Londrina (PR) since 2001 - was designed on two floors. Its 140
m² are inspired by the company's new multidisciplinary vocation.

The proposal is to go beyond architecture and design, which made the office famous, and open up possibilities for new creations and projects. In fact, it is on the upper floor where the team focuses on creation and works on projects. Some walls are covered in marble, which contrasts with the wooden floor.

Along with Guilherme Torres, the Studio is formed by architects Rafael Miliari and Enrico Beer Boimond. It is managed by Debora Atsuko, a specialist in the luxury industry.
