The Polestar team has moved beyond just venturing into the world of high-performance electric cars, and is now also entering the world of architecture with this tree house designed by Finnish designer Kristian Talvitie .
Named KOJA , which means “hut” or “inside” in Swedish, the structure was built using sustainable materials , including locally sourced wood and wool.
Keeping in mind the design language of the Swedish automotive brand, the small residence seems to both respect its natural surroundings and stand out as a contemporary contrast.
The design involves the trunk to support the tree without damaging it.
Meanwhile, the space is surrounded by a skylight that allows sunlight to filter through the leafy canopy and ensure a bright atmosphere.
The house is part of the "House by an Architect" exhibition, which takes place during the Fiskars Village Art and Design Biennale, which is open until September 2022.
