In
Camaçari (BA), the old main house was demolished to make way for a new
1,150 m² building, consisting of large terraces, four suites, a library, a living room integrated with a gourmet kitchen and a wine cellar. In the project by
Paulo Andrade – an architect from
CASACOR Bahia –, everything was strategically designed for a large family who loves to entertain.
The house is organized around
minimalist (but not monotonous) landscaping , and constantly invites residents and visitors to contemplate the canal that borders the entire lot.
Natural wood enclosures with movable brise-soleils are proportional to the different ceiling heights of the house and open or close completely, depending on their use, time of day or seasons.
The
décor is equally
modern , where a discreet and very
chic composition, composed of
essentially Brazilian pieces , creates an air of “beachy style”. At night, the continuity and spatial arrangement create new situations and the lighting filtered by the wooden shutters creates an atmosphere of a romantic film.
The
facades are marked by
corten steel walkways, taubilha roofs, palm fiber linings and limestone floors and coverings .
