The
Palace of Versailles is an unparalleled cultural and architectural treasure. Declared
a UNESCO World Heritage Site over thirty years ago, this monument boasts a unique and memorable design that has inspired artists and designers from around the world.
Inspired by the stunning palace,
Kaveh Najafian , designer and architect, used an artificial intelligence program (called
Midjourney ) to reinterpret the building, applying
maximalist aesthetics to the façade with feathers and golden fabrics that give it a more eye-catching look.
Midjourney - the program used to reinterpret the project - has a
database with several references that help to apply an artistic language to projects and bring
precise results .
According to Kaveh Najafian, when Midjourney uses any of its well-documented “natural habitats,” such as the Palace of Versailles, the “complexity of the images becomes simply fascinating.” In the AI renderings,
the real symbols are seamlessly integrated to the palace building to create the ultimate expression of maximalist architecture.
