This
countryside house of 1800 m² of built area is located in a condominium in the interior of São Paulo, where the family spends weekends and receives many friends. The project, signed by architect
Ana Weege – from the cast of
CASACOR São Paulo – had the premise of creating a spacious residence, but at the same time, very integrated and practical.

"From any of the rooms, you have a general view of the whole house and can observe the integral dynamics of the spaces. Thus,
the party of the project was that the house would be a large veranda, which opens up and integrates with the garden," says the professional. For this,
few walls, large glazed closures, and few curtains were used.

The architectural project consists of few elements, creating a monobloc aesthetic inspired by Brazilian modernism. Elements like concrete, wood, and gray are repeated throughout the entire extent. The porcelain tile, which covers the entire ground floor, invades the garden dressing the pool.

On the ground floor, wood appears on the ceiling, while on the upper floor, the same material covers the floor. In the interiors, there are wood, textured fabrics, rugs, and a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture.

"The pool is semi-Olympic, with a lane of 25 meters. The house also has six
suites: three of them on the ground floor next to the gym and three others on the upper floor. This division sectorized and preserved the family's space, making it even more intimate," says Ana.

The olive tree over 250 years old is located right in the center of the house, gaining prominence in the internal garden. "The result is a play of fullness and emptiness in a construction," says the architect.

In choosing the furniture, highlight goes to the grand
bench by artist Hugo França in the garden, as well as the numerous works of art. A desk from the 1950s, a family heirloom, was also restored and used in the hall of the upper floor. The striped UP armchair by
Gaetano Pesce has belonged to the couple since their marriage.
