Winter holidays are coming and with them comes the desire to spend a few days close to nature , enjoying the silence in a cozy place. An interesting option are tiny houses , which have become a hit on temporary rental platforms. Charming, practical and usually located amidst incredible landscapes, these accommodations can provide a different vacation experience, often just a few kilometers from the big cities. 1. Farm refuge | Gonçalves, MG

Ideal for couples, this 50 m² cottage is located 15 kilometers from the center of Gonçalves, in Minas Gerais. Located on a farm, the cabin has an incredible view of the mountains, as well as cozy interiors and is close to a lake. It has a skylight in the bathroom ceiling and an outdoor area that is ideal for enjoying romantic moments. The accommodation was built using sustainable methods — using CLT (Construction of Natural Wood) and reforested wood — and is supplied with water from the farm's springs and solar photovoltaic energy. According to the hosts, the house has all the necessary infrastructure and items for a comfortable stay.

Called Kilimanjaro, this chalet is made entirely of wood , offers cozy décor and a front view of Pedra do Baú and the sunset in São Bento do Sapucaí, São Paulo. The back view is of the forest, with more privacy, where there is a bathtub. Inside, there is a fully integrated space, with a kitchen, living room, fireplace and double bed, as well as a balcony . The bathroom has a glass wall so that nature can be admired while bathing and also has access to the bathtub, which has a glass cover. In the outdoor area, guests can enjoy a barbecue and a place for a fire.

This triangular chalet in Flores da Cunha, in the Serra Gaúcha, is located in a secluded area, ensuring privacy. The hosts offer romantic packages for those who want to enhance the experience. With two floors and lots of wood, the interior of the accommodation is cozy and equipped with Wi-Fi and a smart TV. There are also bed linens, blankets and bath towels. The kitchen has basic utensils, pots, salt, spices, an electric oven, refrigerator and microwave. Pets are allowed, but the hosts ask that they stay downstairs to make cleaning easier, as this area has ceramic flooring.

Overlooking the Serra da Mantiqueira, this 15 m² container has a covered deck , outdoor bathtub , as well as a full kitchen and bathroom, Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning. The area where the house is located is private. One of the highlights is the bedroom, which has a bed with front and side views and a sunroof overlooking the mountains, a queen-size mattress, pillows and 100% cotton bed linen. The bedroom also has blackout curtains and a closet.

With contemporary architecture with straight lines and views of the Serra da Mantiqueira mountains, this tiny house is located in a private area of 20 thousand m², full of natural beauty.
Just 30 minutes from São Paulo, this small 44 m² refuge is nestled in the Serra da Cantareira. The cabin was designed and built in the middle of a clearing by the hosts, using nature as inspiration. Respecting the environment as much as possible, the project was built without cutting down any trees. The cabin has a balcony and is very comfortable with a box spring bed, mattress heating, a fireplace for cold nights, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a TV and a bathroom with a gas shower and towel warmer. On the deck , you can relax in the bathtub while admiring a wonderful view of the forest.

Located on a farm in the Monteiro Lobato region, in the interior of São Paulo, this geodesic dome is a rounded structure made of ecologically treated wood. It measures 45 m² in total, including a suite with a mezzanine and a kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, minibar and air fryer, as well as various utensils. There is also air conditioning, a spacious bathroom and an electric shower. But the highlight is the glass panel in front of the bed, which allows guests to contemplate the stars at night and the sunrise when they wake up, always with a view of the mountain ranges of the Serra da Mantiqueira.

In the middle of the Serra Catarinense, the Malbec cabin offers an experience of relaxation and connection with nature . Included in the accommodation are bath and face towels, robes, bed linens and pillows made of goose feathers and fiber, as well as enough blankets and throws for the cold of the mountains . This geodesic dome is located high up in the mountains of São Bento do Sapucaí, in São Paulo. It is located at an altitude of 1,670 meters. Designed to disconnect from the city and connect with nature, this accommodation is part of the glamping trend, which has become a trend in the hotel industry, and is located 4 kilometers from Pedra do Baú. The space has a queen-size bed, bathtub, full kitchen, barbecue and Wi-Fi. And, to access the cabin, it is good to know that you need to travel in a 4x4 vehicle provided by the hosts — the transfer is already included in the daily rate and is available 24 hours a day.

Also triangular in shape, Cabana das Pedras is a complete space designed by the hosts with many details to ensure a unique experience for guests. Pets are allowed, but they warn that two tame dogs live on the property and whenever new guests arrive, they stay close by to welcome them. The cabin is located on a high place, with an infinite swing to enjoy the view and take photos. Inside the accommodation, there is a good Wi-Fi signal, a living room with a smart TV and a full kitchen, as well as a bedroom with closets, a hot tub, a barbecue and other facilities to ensure total comfort for guests.
