MASK Architects have designed the luxury residence “ Villa G01 ” with panoramic sea views, in one of the most exclusive areas of northern Sardinia, Italy. The dwelling was designed to ensure the sustainability of the local nature and built using contemporary construction techniques and elements based on current technologies. (MASK architects/CASACOR)

Nestled between rocks and vegetation, and on the shores of the beach with crystal clear blue waters, the development integrates harmoniously with its surroundings ; ensuring a relaxed summer atmosphere and encouraging conscious connection with family, as well as the freedom to coexist peacefully with nature. The outer shell is materialized using traditional finishing, resembling a “stone house”. The cave-like formation of the roof is inspired by local rocks that have voids due to corrosion and the effects of various natural phenomena. (MASK architects/CASACOR)
Through the hollow space of the cave, users can access the terrace that serves as a living area and also have the opportunity to walk on the roof and enjoy the panoramic view day and night. The villa includes five bedrooms and a suite of living rooms. One of the rooms is actually a spa, with a cozy sauna and a massage area. The windows in the bedrooms offer expansive views of the sea and the surrounding vegetation. The impressive organically shaped pool provides continuity and transition between the indoors and outdoors, with folding curtain walls that the user can open to create a feeling of maximum openness in the room.
