The first home of this family from Rio de Janeiro is what we can call a dream home. Built from scratch on Guaratiba Island, the residence is fully integrated into the surrounding nature and has a 144 m² project designed by architect Lívia Quintella , from CASACOR Rio de Janeiro . "When they arrived at the office, they already had several inspirations. The final construction has a modern look, where, from the entrance, it is possible to see the integration between the house and the external environment", says the professional.

The façade with large windows reinforces the connection with the surroundings and reveals a double-height ceiling, in addition to the imposing door that welcomes you to the property.

In the outdoor area, instead of the traditional barbecue and swimming pool, a bamboo pergola was created, with a rest area with futon, cushions and a hot tub – a space to connect and bring lightness through contact with nature.

Inside the house, natural lighting and ventilation were also prioritized. One of the resident's passions is butterflies , and in the living room, under the stairs, small butterflies convey the lightness of the project, as if they were dancing across the wall. Light, clean tones set the tone for the color palette, which extends throughout the project.

The kitchen was designed with an open concept, since the family didn't ask for much storage space. The lower cabinets act as organizers and the upper shelves decorate and add personality. Another interesting feature is the covered gourmet area, which can be used in any weather.

On the second floor of the house, there are three bedrooms : the master suite and two guest bedrooms. Each of them was designed differently, following its own style. In the suite , the bedroom and bathroom are integrated, as well as the closet, making day-to-day life easier. This space was designed to be clean and functional , for rest and, when necessary, work.

In the second bedroom, a boho touch adds personality. The other bedroom has a more comfy and welcoming feel.
