In the heart of Rome, between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, a new restaurant/bar has opened, Liòn, designed by the architecture firm COLLIDANIELARCHITETTO. The establishment is part of a project to revitalize and enhance the value of the area, led by the Maserati businessmen. Also in the same area, and as part of this project, is the construction of the Hotel Navona Palace and the remodeling of Via del Melone.

The establishment operates on two levels: the ground floor, completely designed from the outside thanks to the large windows outlined by a thick travertine frame, a typical element of Roman fascist architecture, houses the restaurant; while the upper floor is accessed by a marble staircase. embellished with brass details, and houses the service rooms, kitchen and wine cellar.

Thin metal structures frame colorful transparent elements, such as the discs suspended above the black marble tables or the diamond-shaped elements of the bottle rack above the bar, giving rise to an ethereal formal vocabulary with a contemporary flavor. The refinement of shapes and proportions returns an eclectic and innovative, informal and elegant environment.
