The Starbucks chain invited the prestigious architect to create a modular construction with less environmental impact

The prefabricated construction model is part of an initiative by Starbucks to create more sustainable establishments. So far, 45 stores have been created with the smallest possible ecological footprint.
This is the first time that architect Kengo Kuma has worked with shipping containers. In this unusual project, the professional created a Starbucks store in Taiwan using 29 shipping containers to form a two-story structure. The establishment will soon operate as a drive-thru. and also a shopping mall.
