Karv One Design installs a fluid metal light fixture at Vista Café

Hong Kong-based firm Karv One Design has created a dreamlike atmosphere at the recently opened Vista Café in Fujian, China. To create a visually strong design with dramatic effect, the studio installed an artistically shaped light fixture made from the shapes of of white metal grid, which can be seen throughout the ceiling. The structure appears as a free-standing architectural piece , while its fluid and graceful form, which resembles a ribbon fluttering in the wind, evokes a dreamlike feeling.

The strong visual tension of the design is derived from the dramatic confrontation with everyday memories, bringing a whole new sense of lightness and imagination to the café experience . Different patterns of behavior are observed as people gather in this surreal white garden and interact with each other. the others.

People flow within the space while the exterior water features echo the thematic atmosphere of the project, creating a unique spatial experience. The façade emerges as a beautiful backdrop and, with its open character, integrates with the city, becoming a memorable popular destination.
