The
Lençóis Maranhenses , located in the northwest region of Maranhão, attract the attention of tourists and surfers for its crystal clear waters and open sea. With fine sand and freshwater lagoons that make up the National Park, the place is
a true paradise .
Such beauty and tourist appeal caught the attention of two Italian architects, David Cirocchi and Plinio Vanni, who designed a
structure in the middle of the water to house "kitesurfers" (sportspeople who practice
kitesurfing ) who want to visit the region and enjoy catching some waves.

The
minimalist style was the main feature of the structure's decoration, which serves as a
temple of rest for visitors . The use of white and light wood inside the space was a good choice and harmonizes very well with the exterior, surrounded by sheets of the same color. Furthermore, the walls have a
granular texture , which is very reminiscent of beach sand. The concept of "empty space" is reinterpreted by the architects as a place that is waiting for someone to use it. They designed this
concept of surfer kit boxes in perfect harmony with the sand and the sea.
