School 42 is a French institution with a collaborative teaching method, where students evaluate each other's work, always in group activities. In 2019, 42 São Paulo (as it is called) arrived in Brazil and set up shop in Vila Madalena, in São Paulo, with a project by Superlimão . In the free program, students can choose their own curriculum and advance through modules without teachers. With this disruptive teaching method, the architecture and interior design project could not be different. And for this, the Superlimão studio was called upon to create an efficient and attractive space to meet the technical and visual needs of the students - made up of people aged 18 and over. The idea was to translate this diverse universe of the school into four multifunctional spaces: events and three with programming rooms (with different layouts) in an area of 900 m². The central core is made up of a pantry and IT areas, and the other areas are used for meeting rooms, staff, programming and events. There is also an outdoor area for moments of relaxation. The furniture was developed by Superlimão to meet the accommodation needs. atypical, with lightweight pieces, casters for easy movement and boxes to be used in special actions within the space. The ceiling is made of mineralized wood with acoustic treatment and projected cellulose. A color palette was developed especially for application in the project and in visual communication.
