The global platform Archello highlights the 25 best Brazilian architecture firms with 7 names from the cast of professionals from the CASACOR shows

CASACOR cast joins list of best architecture firms in Brazil
The global platform dedicated to architecture and design Archello , created in Rotterdam, Netherlands, has just released a list of Brazilian architecture firms highlighted as "25 best architecture firms in Brazil".

Eight architects from CASACOR were selected among the 25 best offices in Brazil. One of them was SAINZ Arquitetura , which had its project highlighted at CASACOR Brasília: the São Geraldo Pavilion illustrates the publication.

The criteria for choosing the platform to publish the list were outlined: "The selection curated by Archello's editorial team is based on a combination of the number of projects published and the views they generated ." Lists are one of the many tools used to highlight, remember and discuss any topic. We know that they are all biased and reflect the opinions of a group or person at a specific time, but they are still a delightful option for exchanging ideas. FGMF Founded in 1999 by colleagues from FAU-USP, the FGMF office has the explicit goal of creating contemporary architecture unencumbered by constraints related to program, materials, construction techniques or project scale. FGMF rejects pre-established or rigid design formulas; instead, it approaches each new challenge with a blank canvas. At CASACOR, the trio of architects presented the Modular Marquise in 2016 at the exhibition in São Paulo and in 2022 signed the implementation project for the event held at Conjunto Nacional.

BLOCK Architects Bloco Arquitetos is a firm based in Brasília, founded by the trio Daniel Mangabeira (UnB, 1999), Henrique Coutinho (UnB, 1997) and Matheus Seco (UnB, 1999). This year, the trio of architects is one of the highlights of CASACOR Brasília with an installation created for the São Geraldo brand. In addition, the firm is organizing the "Brasília Moderna" project with the aim of preserving the architectural heritage of Brasília's buildings. With an impressive track record, their work has received recognition in prominent publications, websites and exhibitions, both in Brazil and abroad, attesting to the firm's prominence in the architectural scene.

Nildo José Associated Architects A graduate of Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo, Nildo José is from Feira de Santana, Bahia. His debut at CASACOR São Paulo took place in the 30th edition. Since then, the architect has enjoyed great success in his international career. "Architecture should evoke emotions, tell stories and serve as a backdrop for happiness," says Nildo José.

At CASACOR, Guto Requena stands out for his bold and visually striking projects.

Studio Arthur Casas Studio Arthur Casas has been operating since 1990 in São Paulo and New York . Inspired by Brazilian modernist and contemporary and cosmopolitan influences, the studio’s work reflects a distinct and internationally recognized vocabulary. With projects spanning global cities such as Tokyo, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, New York and São Paulo, its impact is felt on a global scale, underscored by frequent international recognitions and publications. At CASACOR, Architect Arthur Casas returned with the modular and sustainable design of the Syshaus House .

Studio Guilherme Torres Founded in 2001, Studio Guilherme Torres has a multifaceted portfolio that spans architecture and design. His distinctive approach revolves around minimalist details and restrained yet sumptuous material palettes, consistently employed in single-family homes, interior schemes, and retail developments. The architect has been featured in several CASACOR exhibitions, notably in the 2023 edition with an innovative project that included a collaboration with visual artist Regina Silveira: Percurssus .
