Rustic and elegant decor enhances the coziness of this house in Trancoso

Without giving up the rustic atmosphere that is so striking in Quadrado, the main tourist spot in the town of Trancoso, Bahia, the Todos Arquitetura office, part of the CASACOR team, opted for a neutral and regional décor for this house.

In the four suites , in the guest bathroom , in the kitchen and in the spacious living room , the language is the same: simple materials , refined by local labor, give the rustic and refined tone that permeates the entire project.

Burnt cement, copper, reclaimed wood, recycled ceramics and the Bahian sun are enough. Unlike other colorful buildings in the Quadrado region, the house only has white paint on the facade , which further highlights the wood used in the doors and windows.

In the kitchen , placing a central island optimized the space and helped to multiply the work and dining area, necessary in a summer house.

The central section has a honed granite top, while the side benches are made of resin-coated burnt cement.

Mirror, wall light and copper faucet reaffirm the talent of local production. The master suite on the upper floor has a private pool whose water heats up throughout the day.

It's almost irresistible to take a warm bath there in the early evening. Next to it, the hammock chair was designed by Mauricio Arruda.
