Located in Iporanga, a city in the interior of the state of São Paulo, a favorite destination for travelers in search of adventure, this
country house was designed by
David Bastos – a veteran architect of
CASACOR exhibitions, who in 2020 was responsible for the
Redário do Janelas CASACOR Bahia.

The house, whose complete project totals
more than 600 m² , was developed to accommodate a young family who needed a
large space to receive friends . Therefore, one of the requests for the project was to create a
practical and functional house , which would make maximum use of space, as well as, of course, plenty of
ventilation and
natural light .

The existing property was
completely remodeled under Bastos's command, with only the
swimming pool from the original project being maintained. The starting point for the renovation was the
living room , where its dimensions were expanded with the creation of a
double-height ceiling .

The
leisure area was integrated into the social area , thus, the living room gained a large glass door that favors the
entry of natural light , in addition to visually integrating the environment with the
balcony , where the swimming pool and the gourmet area with barbecue are located.

In the outdoor area, the highlight is the
garden , which brings freshness to the project. To make the most of outdoor life, a
hammock and
plenty of lounge chairs were placed to accommodate all those who frequent the residence.
