CASACOR launches modular homes as its first brand licensing
Every year, at each edition of the show in São Paulo and in the franchised squares, CASACOR witnesses the construction and dismantling of entire pavilions in its open-air spaces – complete houses, designed and built exclusively for the event by professionals with recognized experience. in the market and in tune with the contemporary way of living. Now, some of these residences will be part of the Arktop Casa s portfolio , a product by the construction company Wortsman Associados that aims to meet the demand for high-standard housing with clean and fast construction. “In the catalog, projects with the CASACOR seal will gain prominence and increase each year, as the event's board curates new members”, explains Fabrizio Wortsman, CEO of the company.
Four offices are responsible for the first houses of the seal: Manarelli Guimarães Arquitetura (with Cabana, present at the event in 2018), Gustavo Neves, Léo Shehtman and Triart Arquitetura (all guests of this year's edition). "We will offer both the project exhibited at the exhibition as options with variations in floor plans and finishes, which the architects are developing”, says Fabrizio. In common, the proposals will have the construction system: modular steel frame, which will leave the factory ready for a “plug and play” type assembly, as defined by the company's CEO, within a period of up to 120 days. The initiative will preserve the architects' original ideas and may give visibility to resources that are unusual in high-end projects, such as straw bale (bales of hay used as filling for the steel frame for thermal and acoustic insulation), piassava and textures made from discarded organic material. , such as bricks and soil. All of these items will be part of Gustavo Neves’ space. “I give preference to materials that need a new purpose. Piaçava, for example, has lost a lot of market share, as brooms now use nylon. I don’t see why “Do not use it as a covering. It is beautiful and very resistant,” he says. “In addition, I think it is interesting to take work with artisanal value to an industrial scale. This creates opportunities and qualifies the production chain,” he adds. If the client wishes, they can purchase the complete house package, including furniture and appliances. “We will make agreements with all the suppliers and partners of the architects to offer a house ready to move into. All you need to do is bring your suitcase and the clothes on your back.” , concludes Fabrizio.
