Located in Barra da Tijuca on a plot of 811 m², this two-story
house had each room with a different material – the first step of the renovation led by
Migs Arquitetura , led by
Adriana Valle and Patrícia Carvalho , was to change all the floor coverings. and wall to make the spaces more cozy for the family to receive friends and family. The office is part of the
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro cast.
The project was designed for a couple with two children who love to cook and entertain at home. The kitchen was opened to the balcony with a sliding door, allowing the space to be integrated or isolated according to each occasion.
The gourmet area, where the pool is located, was also designed to entertain - the opening of the kitchen was strategic to unite the interior and exterior and increase the space for guests.
The living room is completely glazed and the large windows overlooking the
garden bring contact with nature into the interiors.
Wood on the walls and ceiling warms and brings comfort to the space.
The kitchen has two ovens, as the resident loves to cook and wanted one for sweets and another for savory dishes, allowing preparations to be made simultaneously.
In the gourmet area, a stone covering identical to that of the façade was chosen to facilitate maintenance. A large space with a counter and barbecue was also created.
In the external area there are also some cellars to display the wine collection - the bottles are also present under the stairs, where there was previously an empty warehouse.
Before the renovation, an awning protected part of the outdoor area from direct sunlight. To make the space more welcoming, the professionals built a pergola with a metal structure and straw, which filters the sunlight and makes the space more modern.
On the upper floor, the wooden flooring ensures a cozy and intimate area. The
bedrooms and closets that already existed in the house were kept, but they were given new joinery to meet the couple's needs.
