Porto de Galinhas, in Pernambuco, is known for its unparalleled beauty as a tourist destination. To make the most of the coastal views, architects
Adriana Porto and Luciana Neves , from the Portoneves Arquitetura office, came on board to design the a sophisticated
and welcoming beach house .
“The aim was to create a sophisticated beach house, but one that did not lose the essence of a place of relaxation, where users would feel
welcomed and not oppressed by sophistication,” explain the architects.
With a generous
400 m² of space, the house allowed the architects to plan the
décor with great freedom. The resident had only one request:
that the choices be of high quality and comfortable .
The architects opted for
sand tones to decorate the house. Inside,
wood is very present on the ceiling, stairs and even a lighter wood panel that features different shades of the same covering.
To bring color to the project, the architects also adopted some elements with
earthy tones : cushions, blankets, flower arrangements and even
ceramic vases to enhance the environment.
The balcony is a highlight. There is a very large area close to the pool, perfect for entertaining and enjoying warm days in comfort with friends and family.
