Even before entering the residence, it is possible to glimpse all the rooms of
Casa LIU — such as the leisure area and the native forest in the back — from the front. Located in Riviera de São Lourenço, on the coast of São Paulo, the house was built with the presence of
striking architectural elements that distinguish it from other residences in the region.

The project, signed by the
Raiz Arquitetura office, of architects Alexandre Ferraz and Elias Souza, was developed in an integrated manner in the social area, formed by the
reception lounge and the
outdoor gourmet space . This block, by bordering the front setback of the house, allowed the implementation of the leisure program at the back of the lot.

The social area can also be expanded, with the possibility of opening the sliding panels at the back of the dining area,
transforming the outdoor lounge and gourmet area into a single space . The same goes for the kitchen, which can also function separately or as a integrated social area.

All openings were designed with
lighting, sunlight and cross ventilation in mind, providing better environmental and thermal comfort on hotter days.

To accommodate the entire family,
six suites were built in the summer house: a suite suitable for the elderly on the ground floor, four conventional suites and a master suite on the upper floor.

Finally, the landscaping of the house takes on a dual function: here, it not only acts as a frame for the constructed elements, but also helps to
constitute and integrate the environments , breaking the boundaries of the fences and becoming a single space.
