Balcony to enjoy the outside
Located on the Emerald Coast, in Angra dos Reis,
Casa Azul is designed by
Lia Siqueira . The idea was to focus on elements of transparency and the use of balconies “so that the walls almost ceased to exist”, she says. Furthermore, the beach house gained organic materials, such as
wood in the sliding doors and
stone on the floor.
Wooden trellises for coolness
Roberto Migotto designs a beach house in Trancoso, southern Bahia, with the aim of taking advantage of everything the region's exuberant nature offers. The owners wanted a
middle ground between rustic and sophisticated , which was cozy, easy to maintain and with maximum integration. The entire house was surrounded by
wooden trusses that follow the movement of the sun. The ceiling also has a special shape, called “trough” in Bahia, as it follows the triangular shape of the roof with a straw finish.
Straw , a very regional element, is also present in the blades of fans specially designed for the environments. The result was an elegant but very laid-back summer house, matching the beach atmosphere of sun and sea.
With burnt cement
Inspired by the simple buildings of the Quadrado (central region of the Bahian village) and colonial architecture, the house combines burnt cement floors with a gabled roof covered in taubilha (wooden shingles) and red lattices on the windows. Distributed in three blocks separated by gardens, the house has a village atmosphere.
Clean environments
For the house on Juqueí beach, on the north coast of São Paulo, architect Carolina Rocco had the mission of changing the plan of the project that was already ready and creating the decoration. With the proposal to prioritize coexistence , the architect created versatile spaces with generous circulation.
Wooden pergola
In the Bahian condominium named after the inspiring name, Busca Vida, the beach house designed by architect
David Bastos was located in a paradisiacal setting. With 560 square meters,
luxury and simplicity do not sound contradictory . The use of
wood and the integration of environments bring warmth and offer a rare experience with nature.
A beautiful pool
Demolition wood, bamboo, linen and cotton make a refuge in Florianópolis an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. A natural summer house, with total integration with the surrounding nature, was Juliana Pippi 's proposal for interior architecture. The architectural project was created by the Ruschel Arquitetura e Urbanismo office, which divided the house into two floors, with social areas on the ground floor, such as the living room, balcony, home theater, swimming pool, kitchen and gourmet space on the first floor of the intimate area. The color palette is based on neutral tones, which, together with freijó wood and bamboo , give tranquility to the spaces.
