A contemporary, single-story house , located in the Triângulo Mineiro , was a dream project designed by Studio Porto , which focused on integrating environments and connecting with nature. One of the clients' wishes, which guided the project's layout, was for the house to be divided into two different naves , with the first concentrating the intimate living areas, while the other accommodates the other functions , such as the service area and the kitchen. All in a way that allows for a fluid connection.

Another request from the residents to the architects was that the space should have a place to enhance the sunset. With this came the desire to invest in raw materials and natural elements , the presence of light and ventilation, as well as the inclusion of green spaces .

“By concentrating the wet areas at the ends of the house, we optimize the internal flow, facilitating access to the bathrooms, lavatories and service areas. This approach guarantees privacy for the private area and harmoniously integrates the social spaces,” explains Camila Porto.
For the dream space with a view of the sunset, the Studio created a rooftop as an extension of the leisure area . This space offers breathtaking panoramic views that are perfect for moments of relaxation and enjoying nature.

From the beginning, the residents opted for a contemporary style and chose a construction system with a metal structure . The architecture valued and highlighted the appearance of metal , which expresses lightness and minimalism , playing a fundamental role in the concept of the house.

The construction system and use of natural materials was a strategy used by the office to make the project sustainable. The interactive and versatile layouts were designed to be integrated or not with an abundance of natural light and ventilation , which reduces the use of air conditioning and electricity.
