A simple volumetry, with pure horizontal cuts, when combined with concrete , stone and wood , creates an elegant and timeless project. This is Casa das Jabuticabeiras , a 382 m² residence designed by the mf+arquitetos office, designed for a family with children.
Designed on a plot of land with access to two streets, the residence was divided into sectors: social, service and leisure. The volumetry begins with the creation of two parallel volumes on the lower floor and another transversal volume, configuring a reserved internal courtyard.
Thus, the gourmet area was located in front of the social entrance, with integrated bathrooms and a TV room . The room, with freijó walls and shelves, opens onto the side garden , narrowing the boundaries between interior and exterior.
The upper block, where the bedrooms are located, is framed by wooden lattices, maintaining privacy and thermal comfort. The private circulation area between the bedrooms has an upper opening, which brings natural light into the space and transforms it into much more than a simple corridor.
