To warm up fans for the
Barbie movie that premieres in July, Airbnb created
Barbie's Malibu Dreamhouse , a completely pink Californian mansion, with an outdoor nightclub, infinity pool and themed rooms.
Located on the oceanfront in West Malibu, California, the
life-size dollhouse will be available for rent only for two individual one-night stays, for up to two guests, on July 21 and July 22, 2023.
The large waterfront home features a
pink bedroom decorated with cowhide rugs,
cowboy hats, and horse-print blankets, as well as a closet where guests can borrow Ken's fringed
cowboy shirts and his guitar. Some of
Barbie's outfits , including the iconic pink high-heeled shoes with fluffy feather
decoration from the film, also hang in the closet.
In the center of the building, on one of the house's many terraces, guests can enjoy an outdoor
dance floor in pink, purple and yellow with its own DJ deck.
The Dreamhouse also features a bright pink
outdoor lounging area , a gym – complete with a barrel full of “body brine” – a
pink kitchen with a grill, and an infinity pool.
Guests can enjoy
nearby activities like shopping, surfing, and rollerblading on the boardwalk, and they can also take home their own set of yellow and pink Impala roller skates and surfboards.
