Marília Pellegrini's project for CASACOR São Paulo 2019 was the Brazilian project chosen to participate in the International Property Awards, in the Architecture Single Residence category. The Cosentino Container House , one of the highlights of the show, highlights the truth of excellent materials and finishes, without excesses, creating a cozy home from a minimalist point of view. Two containers were joined together to form the 60 m² house. It is complete with integrated living room, kitchen and laundry room, as well as a bedroom with a comfortable bathroom. The unusual choice of structure was based on the premise of sustainability: it promotes a clean, fast, dry construction with 100% reuse. In addition, it provides mobility and agility as it can be transported without great difficulty.
In the first stage of the award, projects from all over the country were selected and the container house was chosen by a group of specialized judges to compete in the next phase, with projects from Central and South America. The announcement of the winner will take place on the third of October and, if it wins again, the Cosentino Container House will compete for the award for best residential project with professionals from all over the world. The architect will be present at the gala ceremony in Toronto, Canada, to announce the winner.
The International Property Awards are recognized worldwide for their excellence and are aimed at professionals from all over the world, with commercial and residential architecture projects. They take place in several regions such as Africa, Asia, Central and South America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States of America.
