Designed by architects
Fernanda Castilho ,

Rafael Haiashida , partners at
C2H.a Arquitetura , Casa Atenas is located in Alphaville, São Paulo, and was designed to be a
contemporary refuge with integrated spaces, plenty of light, natural ventilation and landscaping with lush tropical vegetation.

One of the project's highlights is on the façade: the
brise-soleil . In addition to being an aesthetic element, bringing movement and contrast, they function as a
shutter for the balcony doors of the bedrooms , located on the second floor. The program was divided into sectors based on the uses,
integrating the social area with the leisure area – consisting of a swimming pool and garden –, leaving the more intimate spaces with greater privacy in relation to the street. The project has
three entrances , one main one through the garden and with a view of the back of the land (for receiving guests), another secondary one, with access through the garage for daily use, and a third service entrance.

On the ground floor,
the dining room interacts with the gourmet kitchen and the outdoor balcony , and can be easily integrated into the living room, making it more dynamic for the family and smarter for days when you have friends over for different types of events. This floor also has a
playroom (in the extension of the balcony), designed so that children can play in full view of their parents. The
home office was designed to provide privacy to residents and has a
beautiful view of the outside of the house .

With the aim of strengthening this integration, the design
expanded the balcony so that it followed the L-shape of the house and a
metal pergola with wooden brise-soleil and glass enclosure was attached.

To access the second floor, a
staircase was designed with a central concrete beam with metal sheet steps. In addition, the staircase is surrounded by a series of windows to allow
greater entry of natural light . On this floor, in order to take advantage of the view from the back of the land, the architects located the
master suite at the end of the house, which has a large window that frames the beautiful view of the mango tree in the house's garden. Check out more photos of the project in the gallery below!
