The wooden cabin gained a modern, rustic and industrial look in the project developed by the Macro Arquitetos office , led by architects Carlos Duarte and Juliana Nogueira . The pair of professionals found a new layout for the cabin in the search for parts and in the quick and easy-to-install carpentry. old prefabricated house located in Itu, inland São Paulo.

The first step was to integrate the kitchen into the living room , knocking down the wall and replacing it with a steel reinforcement. Following the industrial style , the shelving unit with a galvanized iron structure made from water pipes and the cabinets also gained blue wood , which relaxes the environment.

For the island, also designed by the firm, a spiral connection between a truck bucket and cabin feeds energy into the island with wheels, further increasing the dynamics of the environment.

The warmth of the reclaimed natural wood and the white details are complemented by the landscaping , also designed by the firm. The choice of vases and pendants on the balcony, as well as large tropical foliage in the backyard and around the house, will bring privacy and thermal comfort to the residence.

The room has large windows, Carrara stone on the floor and a custom bed that brings a rustic and calm tone to the space. The yellow lighting provides warmth to the space, contrasting with the cool tone of the paint.
