In the era of "
Instagrammable restaurants ", when you visit a
bar or restaurant, it's not just the food and drinks that will help you evaluate the establishment. The space counts (a lot!) and is
almost as important as the preparation of the food – that's because it's much better to taste new flavors in a
comfortable environment that
promotes well-being .

But
it's not just about aesthetics : "Several factors need to be taken into consideration, such as colors, lights, the presence of nature and lighting. And, in this sense, the
architect's experience makes a difference ", explains Nathalia Hartung, Head of Archathon, a platform for hiring architects.

In addition to the environment where customers will sit, it is also important to think about the
design of the kitchen itself to ensure greater efficiency , agility and fluidity in food preparation. If these are already fundamental features for the
decoration of a home kitchen , imagine in a restaurant, which receives several orders at the same time.

Now, when it comes to
decoration , many other aspects need to be taken into account to create the perfect atmosphere. "A traditional Italian cantina should have a certain type of trousseau and decorations that refer to the origins of this cuisine, while an Italian restaurant that aims to be more modern can explore other elements that go beyond the conventional,
even if the menu is similar ", explains Natália.
Masterchef Restaurant

The winner of the first Masterchef Profissionais,
Daisy Paparoto , has an Italian restaurant that bears her surname (
@paparotocucina ) which, in its construction, had the help of professionals from the
architecture studio Ultra to bring life to the space and everything it should represent.
The venue was designed, built and decorated with references to the province of
Treviso, northeastern Italy . The aim was to create a space that would promote
unity and
fraternity after a long period of isolation. "From rugs and furniture that resembles homes in the region to indirect lighting, we sought to translate some of the coziness of Treviso into a cosmopolitan city like São Paulo. The highlights are the references to the traditional bridge arches and other buildings found in the region that inspired the project," concludes architect Arthur Lauxen, from Ultra.
