American architecture firm LOHA has completed the design of a row of sculptural metal-clad homes in Los Angeles. Named Canyon Drive , the housing complex is located near Hollywood.

Totaling 929 m2 , the housing complex consists of five three-story units on a narrow rectangular lot. The project is part of a Los Angeles City Small Lot Subdivision Ordinance that aims to encourage the construction of smaller, more affordable homes for first-time homebuyers in an increasingly expensive market.

By tilting the walls of the houses, the team was able to provide opportunities for sunlight exposure and natural ventilation.

Inside the home, the first floor features two bedrooms, while the upper level encompasses an open area for relaxing, dining and cooking.
