The concept of the DN Apartment, designed by BC Arquitetos , was inspired by modernist influences and the narrative inspired by contemporary and minimalist poetics that guide new living styles. Concrete-clad columns guided the layout of the project, reinforcing the architectural influences and inspirations - such as Roberto Burle Marx. , Brazilian master landscaper.
Few elements and raw and mineral materials, such as concrete, granite, cement mix and stone agglomerates, were specially selected for the project, in addition to the natural walnut wood that covers almost 100% of the entire apartment , synthesizing the materials and enriching the space.
Contemporary and poetic works of art , such as: the photography of São Paulo, Claudio Edinger, the metal sculpture work by Claudio Alvarez, the bronze head sculpture by Florian Raiss and the old photography, complete the basis of this project that brings affective memories, lots of art , history and references to architecture, art and furniture design from the mid- 20th century .
The master bathroom follows the same architectural concept as the floor covering project. The walls are made of terrazzo. DECA fixtures and fittings in matte black reinforce the dense and personal atmosphere. Works of art by Florian Raiss highlight art as one of the fundamental pillars of the project.
