In her first participation at CASACOR São Paulo 2019 , Bárbara Salles opted for a playful atmosphere and synesthetic architecture. In the conceptual bathroom 3 Elements, sensations stimulate perceptions to increase well-being and awaken self-knowledge. The proposal brings awareness to the current moment and makes us reflect on the relationship between man and nature. Every detail connects sustainability, technology and affection - which are the pillars of the 2019 theme, Planet Home . Bárbara Salles revealed that the biggest challenge of the project was the ceiling. Originally, it had a large unevenness, and correcting it would make it too low. So she decided to make a light slit from the wall that goes up to the ceiling, transforming this feature into a element of value for the project. Both the floor and the panel were covered with the same MDF boards, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Mirrors show that, despite being individuals, we are many. Everything encourages visitors to find a moment of introspection, inviting them to reflect from the inside out, to improve their way of living, thinking and acting.
