For these restaurants in São Paulo, the customer experience is not just limited to exceptional menus, but also to the design and decoration of the environment . Thus, each recipe is enjoyed in a place with a special architecture and full of stories, as well as a themed décor , responsible for the atmosphere of the house. A hidden door behind an old bar in São Paulo. The staircase reminds me of grandma's house, with terracotta floors. The parquet floor, large windows, brick wall, the white tiled bathroom with a bathtub from the 40s. This is the perfect, relaxed atmosphere – and hidden! – for a brewery/pizzeria. Great for those who want to enjoy the informal atmosphere and welcome friends over for a drink. Câmara Fria has this atmosphere of being a place to gather friends – like a weekend pizza party, in the garage or in the attic at home – and, of course, to test new beers. The women's bathroom also has something extra: every day, the staff fills the bathtub with ice and pours beers there. All this accompanied by good music! R. Graúna, 137, Moema, São Paulo – Telephone: (11) 2299-5336 | Opening hours: Tuesday to Wednesday, from 6pm to midnight; on Thursdays, from 6pm to 1am; and Friday and Saturday, from 6pm to 2am Ella Fitz | @ellafitzristoranti

It is impossible not to enter the restaurant and not be automatically transported to New York . The most recent house by partners Paulo Barros and Salvatore, is run by chef Ana Cremonezi and stands out for a series of details. First, for the imposing illustration that sits behind the counter and pays homage to jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald. Designed by architect Otavio Sanctis, the house abuses the use of rustic wood , which covers the floor and walls, even going on to the retractable roof, also made of wood, like New York warehouses. They contrast with the marble of the tables, the mirrors, the charm of the glass-enclosed kitchen and the teal fabrics of the chairs: everything to create a cozy and perfect atmosphere to enjoy the menu , choose a good wine or drink some of the good drinks that the house has. Rua dos Pinheiros, 332, Pinheiros | Opening hours: Monday to Thursday, from 12pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 11pm; Friday, from 12pm to 4pm and from 6:30pm to 11pm; Saturday, from 12pm to 11pm; and Sunday, from 12pm to 9pm Flora Bar | @florabar.sp
Flora Bar

Behind a flower shop, a bar opens up. Not in one salon, but in several. Also not on one level – on several. With two bars, one right at the entrance of the house and the other upstairs, Flora has an idea that is reminiscent of European bars from the past : you walk around, discover and look for an environment that best suits your mood . Be it a counter (yes, they are different from each other), one of the rooms – there is the one that is more hidden, in the lower part of the street level, very speakeasy style, or the room that has the window facing the street, perfect for those who like to see and be seen, or the last one, where you can see everything that happens almost in the entire bar. The dark style, with dramatic decor , is ideal for enjoying the classic cocktails that the house has, separated in chronological order. The food is served on imposing crockery to match the decor atmosphere. R. Padre João Manuel, 795, Jardins | Telephone: (11) 93310-2792 | Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, from 7pm to 1am, and Sunday, from 7pm to midnight Pappagallo Cucina | @pappagallocucina
Opened in 2021, Pappagallo Cucina is located in Jardins, right in the heart of São Paulo. The address leads to a two-story house, built in the 1940s, which maintains its original structure, making Italian cuisine even more classic and interesting. The person who designs the menu is chef Pedro Mattos, responsible for hand-selecting all the ingredients served in each dish. Furthermore, the decoration of the space is not limited to bricks, wooden tables, glass walls and ceilings or lights and plants: it extends to the dishes, which are extremely Instagrammable , and complete the architectural design of the place. Alameda Jaú, 1372, Jardim Paulista | Opening hours: Mondays, from 12pm-4pm and 7pm-11pm; from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12pm-5pm and 7pm-12am | Requests via WhatsApp: (11) 99452-9960 Rincon Escondido | @rincon_escondido_parrilla
Rincon Escondido Grill Restaurant

First of all, you need to know that the space is not a restaurant. But it will probably be there, at Rincon Escondido, that you will have one of the most unforgettable gastronomic experiences of your life . Born in Vila Madalena, and now also present in Pinheiros, the space is completely dedicated to the universe of parrilla and guarantees that “life is a succession of roasts”. In addition to offering experience lunches and dinners, and being one of the favorite places for corporate and intimate events, everything is designed to provide an unparalleled experience . With a rustic but very intimate feel, the walls are full of plants and the lighting is low, interacting with the wooden tables and benches. In charge of the “La Poderoza” parrilla, which is located on an entire wall, is the Latin duo Chico Mancuso and Alan Edelstein, experts in providing unique and impactful moments. Unit 1: R. Watanabe Restaurant

There were many famous addresses in America that inspired the creation of Watanabe. But, to arrive at the exact formula, the place needed good touches of authenticity from chefs Denis Watanabe and Eduardo Takeshi. Located in the heart of Itaim Bibi, a renowned neighborhood in São Paulo, the restaurant balances the modern with the classic , sheltering its customers with the best of Japanese refinement and Brazilian warmth . Minimalist, with accurate lighting and well-designed spaces, the architecture speaks to the designs of each dish, proving that, there, everything is a true work of art . Rua Pedroso Alvarenga, 554, Itaim Bibi, São Paulo | Telephone: (11) 3167-6200 | Opening hours: on Mondays, from 12pm-3pm and 7pm-11pm, and from Tuesday to Saturday, from 12pm-3pm and 7pm-12am | Closed on Sunday | @yu.restaurant

The restaurant features a charming architectural design that can be seen right at the entrance, with an LED installation of Japanese letters. The Japanese cuisine house has a refined atmosphere , with landscaping and curation in every detail. The counter, where renowned signature drinks come from, has a huge classical oriental engraving made with rice paper . In the background, the ceilings open revealing natural light and transforming the restaurant into an outdoor garden . Natural elements, such as sand and stone present in the landscaping project, add a special touch to every corner of Yū. The atmosphere is ideal for going with friends and tasting delicious Japanese food and having an incredible drink , or as a couple, to enjoy all the glamor that the house offers. At nightfall, the low lights illuminate the sofas and armchairs slightly – and perfectly –, leaving the atmosphere more intimate.
