Ramiro Mendes was inspired in his new project by the North American Beat Generation – a group of North American writers and poets from the 1950s and 1960s with nomadic lives, especially Jack Kerouac and his work On the Road. Casa Nômade calms concerns with its soft and natural color palette, a refuge for adventurers.

Brenda Rolim's Living Room brings the concept of the living room of the past: receiving and communicating to visitors the tastes and values of its residents. Materials and furniture are Northeastern precedents, in a loose layout that allows for new configurations. Much of what was already there was repaired and cleaned: the concrete texture of the vault; the frames and exposed bricks.

The My Place in the World loft is aimed at a cosmopolitan couple who live between two countries, moving between nationalities and cultures. Project by Carlos Otávio Arquitetura & Interiores, the space welcomes and combines modernity and regionalism by combining the needs of contemporary man with natural elements, such as stone, wood, straw and metal.

Designed by Vinícius Ferreira, Cozinha Dona Benta focuses on natural elements to revive traditional kitchen models, with integrated spaces, ideal for receiving guests. The details refer to the past and stimulate the senses. In the olfactory identity of the environment, vanilla awakens memories of grandma's cake.

In the year of the Bauhaus centenary, Rosalinda Pinheiro pays homage to the German school in a 52 m² modernist house. The Bauhaus House | Espaço DECA is divided into two levels: the loft-style ground floor, with an integrated gourmet kitchen and large living room, and the upper terrace, with a gourmet counter, a large table and a living room with comfortable chairs.

Like a time machine, Alpendre - Memória Interior transports visitors to an environment full of affection, focused on family and a sense of belonging. Designed by Elias Petruço and Felipe Costa, the cozy environment makes visitors remember good times and rediscover their roots, encouraging touch through the warmth of the wood.

The name itself indicates the intention of the project by Adelina Feitosa and Manuela Cidrão: Raízes seeks to rescue the very roots of Ceará, in a reinterpretation of a hut that is structured on metal, covered by a sophisticated weave made of carnauba straw. The structure rests on a reflecting pool, providing visitors with the experience of contemplating the garden on cushions and hammocks, to the sound of birds from the backlands.

The 21st CASACOR Ceará reaches its last week with an appreciation for regional materials and a desire to reconnect with what is intrinsically Ceará. In yet another year spread across the 10,000 m² of the J. Macedo family's venture in Fortaleza – an emblematic symbol of the city, a project by Acácio Gil Borsoi that features a garden by Roberto Burle Marx –, the 39 environments of the 2019 exhibition welcome the references locals in the very way of thinking and doing architecture, design and landscaping. The predilection for everything that says Ceará brings with it a sustainable character, by reusing and giving new meaning to the state's natural resources. Sustainable are also the construction methods, designed by the 67 professionals to become more efficient, producing minimal waste and engaging in the reuse of water. The exhibition, which runs until October 22nd, is full of an affectionate, almost familiar character, such is its proximity to the visitor. The great inspiration is the Planeta Casa concept, based on the tendency of each house to become the individual's private universe. Natural textures are highlighted, translated into wood and braided fibers. Furthermore, swing hammocks, objects full of memory and other items create affective environments. With this in mind, we selected the 7 environments that best convey the concepts that summarize this edition of the exhibition. Check it out! CASACOR CEARÁ 2019 When?
