With a space of 247 m²,
The Caracol Bar is one of the highlights of the 36th edition of
CASACOR São Paulo . Designed by architect
Luciana Viganó , the space brings together the dichotomy between light and shadow, color and darkness, with
high-tech decoration and noble materials, from the coverings to the furniture.

The project's starting point was the
layout of the space used for preparing drinks, making it easier for employees and the public to operate. The bold architecture and choice of high-quality materials give the project
a sophisticated and
contemporary feel. The walls of the space and the center of the bar were covered in
aluminum with colored electrostatic paint , while the surrounding countertop and the structure fixed to the ceiling were made of
translucent glass .
To cover the floor and one of the walls, the architect specified
Flakes MIX NAT porcelain tiles from
Ceusa , which have a
stylized granite appearance and provide another touch of color to the space, this time with more neutral tones, such as
gray and
sand . The versatility of the product allowed Luciana to add a wall covered in porcelain tiles to the space. The pieces, measuring 120x120cm, harmonized with the colorful design, providing visitors with a
surprising experience .

In his first participation in the São Paulo exhibition, Viganó juxtaposes vibrant colors at the front of the project and sober tones, combined with an intimate atmosphere, at the back. The idea is to make an
allusion to the look of the former address of the Caracol bar in the center of the capital of São Paulo .

The aluminum cladding and illuminated glass shape the counter and punctuate the
technological atmosphere created by the architect – a good contrast to the
handmade rugs that are spread throughout the space.
