In their fifth participation at
CASACOR SC , the duo
Fábio Vitorino and
Laís Forte , from
Studio Allure , pay homage to silence and contemplation. Called "
A Pause of a Thousand Bars ", the 80 square meter project includes an outdoor garden with a balcony, a master suite with a living room, a closet and a bathroom.
“A pause of a thousand bars is a silence that lasts quite a long time, which creates the space that gives meaning to the sound. This is what this environment proposes:
calm ,
rest ,
relaxation – the silences –, to later glimpse and enjoy all the beauty conveyed by these moments”, describe the professionals. The phrase that gives the space its name was taken from an excerpt from the song Para Ver as Meninas, by
Paulinho da Viola , which was also famous performed by Marisa Monte.
Plants and fish make up the outdoor garden, as well as furniture designed exclusively for rest. Internally, the space conveys the idea of
naturalness ,
warmth and
sophistication . “The contrast between black, white and light gray harmonizes naturally with the
occasional touches of gold , in addition to the light atmosphere generated by the lighting and natural plants”, highlights Fábio.
Watercolor traces of works by artist
Camila Saavedra complete the relaxing atmosphere.
