Guest Suite. Angela Leite Barbosa and Daniel Marques Mendes – CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2021 (André Nazareth/)
The original palatial elements of the Brando Barbosa Residence were all preserved by the duo Angela Leite Barbosa and Daniel Marques Mendes in the Guest Suite , a CASACOR Rio 2021 space that gained a sophisticated air with minimalist furniture .
The contrast between old and new appears in an interesting way in the moldings, flooring, doors and windows in carved carpentry. The bathroom kept the original tiles , gained modern pieces from DECA and brought a biophilic design through the large vertical garden .
The bedroom features an abstract wallpaper in the colors of the exterior and a large headboard designed to accommodate two double beds and thus accommodate different guest configurations.
Highlight the points of color positioned intelligently in the room. The bed linen in shades of blue , the colorful paintings and the abstract wallpaper show that to create a space with color it is not necessary to paint the walls , the details can also color the environment!
