Spa Naz Deca incorporates accessibility bars for accessible living
With the purpose of instigating pride in the marks on one's own body , traces of the phases overcome, Amanda Saback and Luiza Veloso, the duo at the forefront of Traama Arquitetura , created a project that inspires the search for a safe, calm and respectful space at CASACOR Brasília 2023 : the Spa Naz Deca.

The 80 m² space is inspired by the first spas of Ancient Greece , with water as the main focus. Here, the welcoming and belonging invite the reestablishment of connections .

The space conveys security and calm through sinuous and light lines , soft beige tones and granulated porcelain tiles made of mineral compounds on the bathroom floor and wall. The Brown Matte finish of Deca 's new metal lines was presented exclusively in this edition and expands the possibilities for caring for the body and mind.

A highlight of the project, the concept products from the Deca Care line offer design, well-being, greater independence and safety in different mobility situations . Versatile, the vertical grab bars, with hangers in their structure, and the horizontal ones, which also function as object holders and shelves, can be used in different décor proposals that go far beyond their use in bathrooms.
In this way, they transform environments such as living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms, among others, into increasingly welcoming and accessible spaces to be seen and experienced by people of different ages or even needs for mobility and uses. “After being invited by Deca to design a space that would be accessible to all ages and that would change people’s relationship with accessibility bars, we began to question the feelings that made people reject their use,” highlights Luiza Veloso.

“In this way, we understand that we would like to provoke and instigate the pride that each person feels about the marks on their own bodies, about each phase overcome and each battle won. In this search to trigger feelings, we found a definition in the URDU language, the word Naz , which means pride in being loved, in being cared for ,” adds Amanda Saback.
