In her first participation in
CASACOR São Paulo , architect
Sabrina Gnipper presents a bold, creative and welcoming concept in just 14 m². This is the
Toré Bathroom , an environment that proposes to rescue family origins, ancestry through new reflections on living. contemporary.

"Over time, human beings have become
disconnected from their roots , living at an increasingly faster pace, in an increasingly selfish way, disrespecting nature and themselves," says the professional.

In this way, the Toré Bathroom offers a unique experience to visitors, transporting them to a peaceful retreat with the comfort of their own home. For the architect, the project came to life through
rustic, natural and indigenous elements ; using straw, fibers , stones and the color green to help create a sense of spaciousness.

The country's natural beauty is beautifully characterized by the drawings of artist and architect
Maria Emília Rostaiser and the other decorative objects that give the space a finishing touch. The organic mirrors inside tree trunks by artist
Rosana Ciotta symbolize the connection with nature and the look inside yourself.

Inside the toilet cubicles,
paintings of Brazilian landscapes provide an immersion into nature, as a sensitive escapism necessary to promote well-being.

Highlights include the hand-picked works by Melo Bastos. His so-called portals are used as
windows with views of nature . The photographer's gaze under an ancient and primordial Gameleira tree transports the public to refuges untouched by man.
The irregular Egyptian stones that cover the walls represent
primitive architecture made of stone , as well as the beauty of what is imperfect and timeless – as addressed by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi. The natural fiber lamps and
plants hanging from African wooden domes allude to diversity. The facade and doors of the toilets are covered in sisal, a rope made from a plant typical of semi-arid regions that is very present in Brazilian crafts. The space also has a bench in the shape of an anteater made by Xingu Indians.

Finally,
all the wooden elements in the space are certified or made from fallen trees , in addition to the decorative objects being handcrafted, representing more sustainable means of production.
